5th Grade Innovation
My name is Randall Stant. This is my eighteenth year of teaching and thirteenth year in the district. I am a homegrown product of New Palestine High School and am thrilled to be working in the corporation which gave so much to me. I completed my masters from Indiana Wesleyan March of 2013 and administrator's license in April 2015. I am excited to be teaching our innovation courses for the year!

Virtual Learning for Tuesday, August 27th
Watch this video while you open Code.org for the 15 min.
Code.org Activity: You are going to log into Code.org today and work for 8-12 minutes on an activity loaded within the site. For those of you who haven't had me yet, your time may be more like 5 minutes. This is because you will need to sign into Google Classroom using one of the codes (find. your homeroom teacher) AND THEN go to Code.org to jump into the website.
IF YOU HAVE ISSUES getting to Google Classroom:
1) Are you in the app? If not, download it from the Student app (used to be called App Portal). The student login would be 2032firstlast@newpalstudent.org and the password would be Dragonsxxxx (x represents your lunch number).
You can also access Google Classroom on the Internet by going to Google.com. From there, select the waffle iron in the top right corner (has 9 squares) and go to Gmail. Use your login information to open Gmail. You should now be able to go back to the waffle iron, hit the dropdown button, and now see Google Classroom.
2) Type in the code listed below for your homeroom teacher.
3) Once signed into Google Classroom, you should be able to go straight to Code.org. You will select login in the top corner and select the Google Classroom (or Google) bar.
You should have your login from class, however if you don't... use the codes below:
If You Need Help...
The UA team has an Open Google Meet session from 11 am - 12 pm. The access code is: uarocks
You DO NOT need to log into the Google Meet UNLESS you need help from one of the UA teachers. Be patient in asking your question because there may be other people we are assisting before we get to you.
