The Canvas Discussions tool provides an integrated system for focused and threaded discussions, which allow both instructors and students alike to start and contribute to as many discussion topics as desired. Discussions can be created as an assignment for grading purposes or simply serve as a forum for topical and current events. Complete the following tasks for this Challenge:

  • Create a graded Discussion
  • Include a link to an outside resource or YouTube video in the Discussion topic
  • Attach a Rubric to the Discussion (Hint: After you create the graded Discussion, you can locate a pre-made "Discussion" Rubric by clicking "Add Rubric" on the sidebar, then "Find a Rubric" in the top right corner of the Rubric.)
